### In-app Export Options
#### Reports
Reporting data for selected reports (All Channels, Email, Company, and Happiness) is available to be exported right from within Help Scout as either a CSV or XLSX file. as well as all data within it (with the exception of conversation thread contents). [Export Reporting Data](https://5256150.hs-sites.com/knowledge/export-reporting-data) has a little more detail on those exports for you, and other ways to get reporting data out of Help Scout.
### Additional Export Options
All other data within your Help Scout account can be obtained as needed using one of our APIs. Exporting data via the API is currently the only means of obtaining data.
#### Mailbox API
Customer, Help Scout User, and conversation data is available on demand via the [Mailbox API](https://5256150.hs-sites.com/knowledge/help-scouts-mailbox-api-custom-apps-and-open-source-tools).
#### Docs API
All Docs articles can be obtained using the [Docs API](https://developer.helpscout.com/docs-api/).
#### Customer list
[On request](mailto:help@helpscout.net), we're able to provide a .CSV file to Help Scout Account Owners containing the names and email addresses of all of your customers. This export **does not** include conversation history.
